Produced by Effect Sport and broadcasted by Globo TV, Champions of the Sand is a vibrant competition that highlights women’s talent and competitiveness in beach volleyball. It takes place in Brazilian beaches and gathers the best players from different regions to fight for the title in one of this sport’s most challenging modalities.

BRAZIL VS THE WORLD

Three Brazilian teams and three foreign teams play in the tournament. Matches are organized as such: the best Brazilian team plays against the best foreign team, the second-best Brazilian team faces the second-best foreign team, and the third best Brazilian team competes against the third best foreign team. Each match is worth one point, and the winner is defined using a “best of 3” format.
