With routes through the Tijuca National Park, the Christ the Redeemer Half Marathon is the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary’s first licensed race, kicking off the month of celebrations in honor of the monument’s anniversary.

All the way to the top of the Corcovado Hill, the athletes get to pass through some of Rio’s iconic historical and cultural landmarks, natural showers and breathtaking views. This creates a growing demand for the few available openings.
