Reserva Race: 1P=5P

More than an event, the 1P5P Race is a movement made by people and for engaged people in the fight against hunger in our country. Held by the Reserva brand, in partnership with Effect Sport, on October 23, 2016, the Race gathered around 700 athletes in a 5km course that crossed Ipanema Beach to Leblon Beach. On a cheerful Sunday, the Garota de Ipanema Park also centralized actions and activations of the brand and on the same day, among them, breakfast, musical show, capoeira wheel and other attractions.

Launched in May 2016, the campaign has already enabled the delivery of more than 2.5 million plates of food distributed by partner institutions. The action of the race aims to give more visibility to the project, which intentions to mobilize forces and funds to fight against hunger in Brazil. This is the main social responsibility project of the Reserve currently – the brand has already been awarded internationally by other initiatives such as Rebels with Cause, seal AR and 40,076.

The social project of food donation also converts five plates of food into the purchase of each piece in the stores and e-commerce of the Reserva and Mini Reserva (hence the acronym 1P5P: one piece = five plates).
