Dow Live Earth Run For Water is an international event that happens simultaneously in 150 different countries. In Rio de Janeiro, with Effect Sport’s production, the event was held at the emblematic Apotheosis Square (Praça da Apoteose), in 2010.

The project calls the attention to the scarcity of pure water in the world. Part of the event’s profits is donated to Non Governmental Organizations related with the issue of water in the world.

With running, walking and educational activities, the Brazilian edition of the event gathered 5 thousand participants in each host city. Rio the Janeiro also featured a Jorge Ben Jor concert. In São Paulo, the event was held at Jockey Club.
